Piano Lessons

Has your child asked you to take piano lessons?

Maybe your child has been wanting to learn piano, but adding one more thing to your calendar seems overwhelming.

You want to try in person lessons, but it’s just not the right fit for your family.

Trust me… I get it.  I’m a busy mom to 3 boys myself!

Finding extra time to do anything in our family is pretty much near impossible.

Give your child the gift of music

I’ve taught in person lessons.  In fact, I’ve taught over 300 in person piano students.  There truly is nothing like a one on one lesson with a private instructor.

But, the awesome thing about virtual learning is that this is just another option I can offer to families.

I know the online piano lesson thing can seem a bit odd.  Not to mention, there are SO many “gurus” and new courses coming out pretty much every week.

I’ve seen it all and it’s so hard to know what’s legit and what’s not.

There are so many well designed online lessons with instructors who are great at what they do.  Then, there are other lessons taught by someone who just started piano and is just teaching songs.

As a Classically trained pianist with a music education degree, I can promise you that my lessons teach much more than just learning by rote or fancy keys lighting up on the screen.

Learn Piano At Home was created to take your child from being a complete beginner (or who has some lessons already under their belt) to knowing how to play piano by ear, how to read music, correct piano technique, and all about music theory.

Want the details?

After enrolling, your child will immediately have access to the beginning and intermediate piano courses. These courses are always available and you can come back to them time and time again to access the lessons.

Oh yeah, and did I mention you get lifetime access?

The courses include two PDF workbooks that contain sheet music, music theory, and practice tips for the week. There are 23 video lessons with a final recap lesson and each one is around 20 minutes long.

Parents… here’s the best part! Each music lesson, both piano and the other ones, have been designed for me to teach your kids while you take a much needed break!  Simply open the lesson on your tablet or computer, and let me take care of the rest.

Are you still not convinced? Then…

Hi, I’m Jessica.  I started learning to play piano at the age of 6 after hearing my homeroom teacher play “Jolly Old St. Nicholas”. I went home that day and learned to play that song by ear.

After beginning piano lessons, I won numerous contests throughout the years, accompanied several soloists and ensembles throughout high school and college, taught private piano lessons for over 15 years.

After earning my degree in music education, where I was only 3 credits short of also having a piano performance degree, I went on to continue teaching piano, playing piano at church and for choirs, weddings, and soloists, as well as teaching music in school.

I know how busy your life is and sometimes traditional lessons can’t fit into your schedule.  If this sounds like you, then online piano lessons might be what you’ve been looking for.

F.A.Q.

1. What happens after I enroll?

The lessons are completely downloadable and can be watched from any computer or electronic device. You simply turn the lesson on, set it on the piano, and let me do the rest. Right after enrolling, you’ll create a login and password, and can watch any of the videos or download the resources 24/7. Also, you can watch the lessons from any electronic device and the lessons are completely downloadable so you can watch them even when you’re not near WiFi.

2. How do I get the most out of the piano course?

To get the most out of the piano lessons:

  • Watch each lesson in order
  • Take the time to practice each week before moving on to the next lesson
  • Do the music theory homework
  • Practice, practice, and more practice
  • Ask for any help along the way in the Facebook group or by emailing me
  • Comment below any of the videos after you watch them with questions or your takeaway

3. What if the course isn’t what I expected?

I take pride in my work and spent months working on these courses and workbooks.  After years of being a Classically trained pianist and teaching in person lessons of all skill levels, I know what your child should be learning.

But, with that said.  If for any reason this course isn’t the right fit, there’s a 7 day money back guarantee.

4. How much is the course?

The price is subject to change.  But, right now, you get the entire course (containing the full beginning and intermediate courses) and complete PDF workbooks for only $129.  That’s cheaper than just 6 in person lessons, but with a course, you get lifetime access AND your child can go back and rewatch any of the lessons as many times as they need to.

5. Do you really help my child learn music?

Of course! I’ve taught piano in person, have taught my own children, and have taught students online.  With a degree in music education, I’ve taught both private lessons and elementary music, so speaking and teaching to kids is my jam!  The piano courses are for kids ages 6-12 and have been created for children to move at their own pace, and at their own timing.
